Research group at the University of Granada focused on the tourism sector, the analysis of tourist behavior, information and communication technologies and the sustainability of destinations.

The project addresses different lines of research associated with certain research projects, such as:

  • Analysis of tourist behavior through georeferencing.
  • Cross-cultural analysis of tourists.
  • Sustainable tourist destinations.
  • Effectiveness of personal and impersonal tourist sources in social networks.
  • Impact of COVID-19 on perceived risk.
  • Tourist behavior and communication of sanitary standards.
  • Information and communication technologies including artificial intelligence and augmented reality, in tourism communication.
  • Analysis of the smoking imaginary in television programs.

RETOTUR-ANDALUCIA

RETOTUR-Andalucía is a research project funded by the SARS-COV-2 call and the COVID-19 disease, co-financed by FEDER Funds and the Junta de Andalucía.

The health crisis caused by COVID-19 has had an unprecedented social and economic impact in our recent history.
Carrying out an analysis by sectors, it is clearly the health and tourism sectors that have had the greatest impact and, as a consequence, those that must face the greatest changes in the short term.
